"Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure" is a game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Xbox Game Studios that will bring you nostalgia if you are a big fan of Disney Pixar movies, like me.

The game covers some adventures in various famous Disney Pixar franchises, such as Toy Story, The Incredibles, Up, among other franchises. In this review, I will address some of the main topics that one might wonder about before buying the game.

What is the premise of the game?

The premise of the game is to immerse you in the magical universe of Disney Pixar, bringing a lot of fun and transforming you into playable characters from each franchise within the game.

Which Disney Pixar characters appear in the game?

Most of Pixar's famous characters are present in the game, such as Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles, and Lightning McQueen from Cars.

Is the game suitable for all ages?

Yes, anyone of any age can play it. The game's rating is suitable for all audiences, so there will be no violent or repulsive scenes.

How is the gameplay?

The game features very simple mechanics, such as solving puzzles, collecting coins, and following objectives, always with the main character of each franchise guiding you where to go, making it suitable for a younger audience.

Does the game have a multiplayer mode?

From the information I researched, the game only supports local/split-screen mode, requiring two people to be in the same location to play together.

However, on the PC/Steam version, Steam has a feature called Remote Play Together, where only one person needs to buy the game and invite a friend, simulating a local game, but each person can play from their own home.

Note: Check the connection requirements on Steam's website for a pleasant experience.

Are the graphics and music of good quality?

The graphics are not very demanding, so it's possible to run the game on simpler machines. As for the music, I can't comment on it because I played without the sound.

How long does it take to complete the game?

It takes around 2 hours or more to complete the game, depending on how you play.

Is there any extra content or DLC available?

At the moment, there is no extra or additional content for the game.

Which platforms does the game support?

The game is available for Xbox 360 (requires a Kinect), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Microsoft Windows 10/11, and PC/Steam.

Note: Currently, the game is available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription and can be played via the cloud with the more expensive version of Xbox Game Pass, the Ultimate version.

Is the price of the game justified by the quality and amount of content?

The base price of the game is US$19.99 on Steam and Xbox/Microsoft. The base price itself is a bit expensive considering that the game is easy and quite quick to finish. You might want to wait for a sale if you wish to buy the game at a lower price.

Where can I buy it?

Through my links below, you can buy the original PC/Steam version, and you will also be supporting my work here at no additional cost to you.

Conclusion.

The game itself isn't very elaborate in terms of content or game length, but the nostalgia of Pixar movies and all its charismatic characters make it worth spending a few hours playing.

I believe it would be more fun to play with two people, although I haven't had that experience, so I can't say much about it. Otherwise, getting the game on sale is worth it.
