High-stakes gambling in Los Santos is one of the fastest ways to turn a Diamond Casino heist haul into a massive fortune—or lose it all before the valet even brings your car around. While it might look intimidating with the high-limit crowds, Blackjack is actually one of the most straightforward and rewarding games in the casino if you play with a strategy.

In this guide, we’ll break down the rules of the Diamond Casino tables, from the basic “Hit” or “Stand” to the high-reward “Double Down” and “Split” mechanics. Whether you’re a high roller at the VIP tables or just looking to trade your daily visitor chips for some Penthouse decor, here is everything you need to know about how to play Blackjack in GTA Online.]

Where to Play Blackjack?

To play blackjack in GTA V Online, enter the Diamond Casino & Resort, located in the Vinewood area of Los Santos. You can find the casino easily on the map, marked as a point of interest.

Once you approach the entrance, you’ll see the distinctive glass doors and the casino logo, signaling the start of your gaming experience.

The casino uses chips as its currency, and you can buy them at the cashier. Each chip costs one dollar, meaning if you spend $10,000, you will receive 10,000 chips. The daily purchase limit is 50,000 chips if you own the Penthouse, and 20,000 chips if you don’t.

You can also exchange your chips back for cash by returning to the same cashier and selecting the “Trade in Chips” option.

Blackjack Rules

The basic rules of blackjack are simple: the goal is to get closer to 21 points than the dealer without going over. Each card has a specific value.

Cards from 2 to 10 are worth their face value. Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 10 points. Aces can be worth 1 or 11 points. If the total value of your hand exceeds 21, the Ace counts as 1. If it doesn’t, the Ace counts as 11.

At the start of each round, the dealer gives two cards to the player and two to themselves — one face up and one face down.

How to Place a Bet

To start playing, sit down at a blackjack table and choose the amount of chips you want to wager.

Confirm your bet and receive your two initial cards. After that, you can choose to “Hit” to get another card or “Stand” to keep your hand as it is.

If you receive a pair, you can also split your hand, doubling your bet. The round ends when either you or the dealer goes over 21, or both sides decide to stand.

If your hand total equals the dealer’s, the game ends in a tie and your chips are returned.

Blackjack Payouts

To get an automatic win, you need to land a blackjack — an Ace and any card worth 10 points, such as a 10, Jack, Queen, or King. When this happens, your bet pays out at 2.5 times the original amount.

For example, if you bet $5,000 and get a blackjack, you’ll win $12,500. However, if the dealer also gets a blackjack, you lose instantly.

Basic Strategy Tips

Don’t go over 21. If your hand is already close, it’s better to “Stand.” For example, in the game below, I had 8 + 6 = 14. I decided to take another card, and it was a 3, bringing my total to 17. If the card had been 8 or higher, I would have gone over 21 and lost.

Also remember that different tables have different betting limits. VIP tables offer higher limits but require Penthouse ownership.

Extra: Daily Casino Rewards

The casino offers daily bonuses for all players. Every day, you can claim a visitor bonus of 1,000 chips at the cashier near the entrance.

Once you collect it, you won’t be able to claim it again until the next real-world day.

Additionally, you can spin the Lucky Wheel for free once a day. The prizes range from chips and cash to exclusive vehicles.

Just walk up to the wheel, press the interaction button, and spin it for a chance to win big.
